Jealous? Don't be. We ran out from Dead Horse on the BBT, got lost twice, and turned around at Tapia for a very "challenging" 26. If you know what that means, you know this involved climbing 2080 feet up Hondo, down Saddle Peak, and then back up 2240 feet of Saddle Peak and down Hondo. You should know when your coach says "I wouldn't do that!" that it's probably going to be nothing less than a treat.
This run also happens to be the test site of my latest invention: the coconut flask.
So, I don't know about you but I looooove coconut water in the middle of the run. Problem is, I never knew how to carry it on a long one without either a drop or it getting super hot. Problem solved, bitches. Here's what you do: fill an old fuel belt bottle (the flat-ish ones) with the heaven juice. Fill your pack with lots of ice and liquid. Stuff the bottle down at the bottom, and four hours later it will still be cold and delicious.
Bam. Coconut flask.
